Hospital

Just a lil bit of sharing....

I have a friend who is doing her internship in a hospital. She's not from medic background..she's taking human development. She's currently working with the counselling department in a hospital.

When ever she came back from work, she'll share with me her story...cases that she deal with.

It's really makes you think and wonder...how all these stories  happen in our daily life..

Real life stories..

Can you imagine in one day, there will be more than 5 cases being reported in a hospital (i'm referring to the hospital which my friend is working with). Not to mention those cases which are not being reported...and how many hospitals we have in Malaysia?

There's one story which really makes me feel sad...like badly.

This old lady, she had choral cancer and need to undergo operation. She needs RH negative A blood which is hard to find.... Thanks God, they manage to find a donor with A- type of blood.

What makes me sad is that the patient, she gave up.

She didn't undergo the operation...she give up.

She give up to her life...hopes, her family.. She is an old lady and have 6 children.

Most of her children are heartless...they didn't come and visit her.. Her husband is on the wheel chair and one of her daughter had TB..

She told my friend that she do not wish to undergo operation as she's afraid it might fail..she wants to see her children and grandchildren..she wants to go home. She give up.

This is only on of the thousand of cases happen around us.

In a hospital...

In a room, you'll see a loving family visiting the patient..in the other room, you'll see the patient lying on the bed all alone...

New babies are born in this room....people are dying in that room...

This is life...and we can't predict what will happen the next second.

I can't imagine how my life will be one day...will my children be there for me when I'm sick? Or I'll be left in the elderly home?

To my dear friends, please appreciate every moment with your family. Love your parents and do not leave them no matter what....

Stuff I love 1

I've decided that I'm gonna to share with all of you on the stuff such as clothes, accessories, masks, shoes and etc which I manage to get for a reasonable price...or rather cheap stuff.

Some people will says cheap stuff are not worth buying because of it's quality.

I'm not totally agree about this as all these long I manage to get some nice cheap stuff.

As a student, I must watch my spending...and as a lady...well, I must say I love to shop for nice stuff.

Tell me which female out there who doesn't like to shop.

It's our nature...we want to look good in front of others. Some spend alot on branded clothings, shoes and make up just to look good.

For me, no one will know you are wearing branded items unless you tell people about it. The brand tag is placed at somewhere hidden.. For example a shirt, the brand is at the inside of the shirt not outside.

Well, that's only my opinion.

Yes, it's true that branded item have better quality...but looking at my account book, I can't afford to purchase branded item. =.=

Maybe one day when I'm married to a rich guy..or son of a Dato', haha...

Here are the things I get for myself few days ago...

Rubber band- RM 2.90

You can use it to tie a pony tail or a bun. :)

Eye mask-RM4.90

There's 3 pairs of it inside. It came with a seal so that once you've open it, you still can keep the moisture of rest of the eye mask.

Facial mask-RM9.90 for two.

Inside, it came with these two small sachets. One is the soft mask powder and another one is the essence. What you need to do is to mix these two in a bowl, stir it and apply it on your face.  =)

Pumps! Ya, I get myself this pair with only RM25. It's from TREATS.

I get all these at The Mines when I went shopping with my friends last Saturday.

I just love to shop <3

Pissed

From the title...

Yes. I'm really pissed off.

I just can't understand why there are people who are just sooo........

Being such a fake. In front these people, they'll be smiling, saying nice good words. On the other hand, they'll just say the opposite.

Why you want to be such a faker? Do you really need to do that?

But the sad thing is that there are still some people love to be with these fakers. Omg.

Hey, think before you say anything k? Don't just simply say something infront people just because you want to cover your face.

We'll see how long all these will last....

What you want to do after this?

'What you want to do after this?'

Sounds familiar to you?

Ya..that's the normal question that will pop out from our parents, relatives, and friend's mouth whenever they saw us especially if you are going to graduate soon.

I'm currently in my second year in university and I'll be graduating next year. That's fast man!

When I went to my relatives' house, they'll definitely ask this question. I'll just answer them... 'I'm not sooo sure..'

Well, I'm sure most of us will face the same situation as me. Unless you already have your 20 years plan in your mind. O.o

It's good if you have plan on what you want to do when you graduate later. But with the competitive market out there, it's difficult for the graduates to find a job. Imagine how many graduates we have each year.

Realizing this, our Ministry  of Higher Education had prepared a platform for us to look for a suitable jobs.

K3G = Karnival Kerjaya dan Keusahawanan

It's the place for us to hunt for suitable jobs as there will be 500 companies, providing 15,000 job opportunities! Wow, that's alot!

The carnival will be held on 14th to 16th May 2010, from 9am to 6pm, at PWTC.

There's 1 more day left! Hurry up and register yourself here.

K3G

K3G stands for Karnival Kerjaya dan Keusahawanan Graduan or in English it means Job and Entrepreneurship Carnival for Graduates.

So what's this carnival all about?

From its name, it's obvious  that this is something like job fair. Well, it's true.

But what makes it different from other job fair out there?

Aaaah...a good question. =)

First of all, a lil bit of introduction of this K3G. K3G is an initiative by our Ministry of Higher Education in providing a platform for all the graduates and employer to share information related with our job market nowadays.

So, it's really something cool which I think everyone should go. (I'm going too)

People nowadays are so lucky as our government provide alot of platform for us. Try ask our parents, they do not have this kind of carnival back then. Ya, my parents always told me that 'you all ha, very lucky you know...want this, you'll get it..want that you'll get it too....'

How this carnival different from other job fair out there?

For your information, there will be around 500 companies having their booth there and this means they are offering 15,000 job opportunities!

There will be walk-in interview as well.

What are you guys waiting for?? Hurry up and get yourself registered here.

By the way..here's the details of the K3G carnival:

Date   : 14th - 16th May 2010
Time   : 9am to 6pm
Venue : Dewan Tun Razak 1, Pusat Dagangan Dunia Putra
              (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur.

For those who are unable to make yourself present on that day, don't worry as you still can register yourself and submit your resume online. The company will arrange an interview if you are eligible and qualified.
So no worries =)

By the way, as you can see..this carnival is a huge carnival and there will be lots of people coming. To avoid traffic, i mean traffic as in queuing and also online registration traffic, please registered yourself first at here.

You don't want to waste your time queuing rite? =)

Pass this news around your friends and invite them too. Good things should be shared together ma.... ^_^

                                   City of Entertainment!

half an hour with an uncle

I was sitting at Starbucks with Mei Ting and Ah Mei...

We were sitting there...looking through the pictures we've took previously.

There's this uncle sitting next to us. He is relaxing and was enjoying his cigar.

Yes, he's an old uncle...with his hair turning into white color like almost 90%.

I was reading my book that time...and that uncle talked to us

Uncle: The Sun is a nice newspaper

We were like "Yeah..." ( Mei Ting was reading the Sun at that time)

Uncle: From where you get it?

Mei Ting: From the counter there..it's free..

Then that's how the whole conversation started.

What I found very interesting and surprising is that the uncle is from Singapore and he's a retired policeman!

My oh my~~

He shared his story...and his point of view...

We talked about the politics, the public transport and the people of course.

Looking at the world...or the things around us from his perspective are totally different from how I looked at it. Ya, it's true that the older we get, the more we'll experience.

He shared with me and told me that Malaysian people is lack behind in education..and yes, I must agree on that. But, even tho...we still have our pros..

People in Singapore are very self-centered. Well, that's what I heard from most of the people. Even that uncle himself admitted it!

I've only been to Singapore once...like when I was 10 years old back then. What I can remember the most about Singapore is that it's a very clean country and it has a huge lion statue with water flowing out from it's mouth. =.=

That's what I can recall back when I'm once a small kid..=)

I wanted to go to Singapore again. To see how it was after years since I went there when I was small.

Hope that I can go there one day...
